Healesville Build - A Video Walk Through

Here is a little video walk-through of the build, this video was taken before my last post, thus before painting begun, all the plaster board is hung though so you get a good sense of room size now.

Healesville Build - Painting Begins, Deliveries

Wow, how a bit of paint can change the look of a place, on Wednesday plasterers were busy hanging and still had plenty of work ahead of them.
Saturday we have cornicing complete, all plaster work done and painting begun, granted it's spray on base coat but still changes they look and feel of the whole place.

Along with the start of painting we have plenty of deliveries come in, the kitchen has been delivered, tiles, doors, hot water systems and various other bits and pieces.

The build continues to motor along with handrailing and decking happening on the outside and plasterboard going up inside.

The plaster guys have been busy the last few days hanging plaster and as of yesterday (Wednesday 20th July) they had all the ceiling up and walls hung, just the finishing and cornicing to go which should be finished by this Saturday.

May Happenings

The blog has been well and truly dominated by the building of the house of late so I thought it was time to get a few snaps up of the daily happenings and some more Seb pics.

Will start with some stuff from May, not a great deal of shots from May, very unlike me not to have my camera in use!

Healesville Build - Handrail, Aircon, Ramp

This week saw the carpenters work on the ramp to the granny flat, start installing the hand rails around the front porch, back deck and linking ramp. Inside plastering hasn't begun just yet but the aircon guys have been busy installing the unit and ducting whilst more deliveries of plasterboard, cornicing and various other bits and pieces have arrived on site.

Healesville Build - Hand Rail, Lily's Ramp

Healesville Build - Cladding, Kickers, Septic, Water Tank

The House is really starting to take shape as the kickers are on, septic installed, rain water tank installed (with a few down pipes, more to go) and plenty of insulation and plasterboard delivered ready for this weeks work.
